Recycle For Sight
Your old eyeglasses can give someone the gift of sight. Drop them off at over 60 collection locations across Saskatoon, Martensville, Warman and Dalmeny.
In 1925, Helen Keller addressed the Lions International Convention and challenged Lions to become “Knights of the Blind.”
A century later, sight remains one of Lions’ defining causes — and this is the Saskatoon Lions Club’s largest hands-on program.
How it works
1
Drop your used eyeglasses — any condition — in a Lions collection box
2
Our volunteers pick them up and ship them to Calgary for grading
3
They’re distributed free to people in need in developing countries
School Sight Program
The Lions Clubs of Saskatoon help fund the School Sight Program, ensuring students in need in Saskatoon schools can get eyeglasses. The program is administered with support from the Saskatoon Community Foundation. If you know a child in the Saskatoon region who needs glasses, contact us at info@saskatoonlionsclub.com.
